Kindergarten
I graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock, Arkansas and then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. There, I recieved a degree in Marketing.
I moved to Texarkana in 2001 and attended Texas A & M Texarkana. There, I recieved my teaching certification. I was very fortunate to be able to participate in the Teacher Interm Program at Westlawn Elementary. I returned back to school a few years later earning a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have a certification in Reading Mastery.
This is my 18th year to teach kindergarten. I taught for 17 years in Texarkana, Texas for Texarkana Independent School District. I taught 1 year at Westlawn Elementary, 12 years at Wake Village Elementary, and 4 years at Waggoner Creek Elementary. This is my 1st year to teach kindergarten in Atlanta as an Atlanta Rabbit!
Being a Rabbit has been AWESOME!
I have a 2nd grader at the Primary and a 5th grader at the Elementary.
I have 4 boys and 1 girl. Brantley is 21, Jacob 18, Joey 14, Owen 10, and Emmalyn 7.
We live on a farm. We have chickens, lots of cows, and donkeys. I love to spend time with my family riding side by sides through the pasture enjoying the fresh air and family time.
